💧Mildred Falls: San Diego County's Tallest Waterfall💧
These falls are about 300 feet tall and generally only flow this well when there has been unusually heavy rains.
I shot this with my Canon EOS R. Note that I don't have any zoomed out footage of the entire length of the falls due to my SD card (a 4-month-old Sony SF-E128) failing hard without warning. Not corrupted, but some sort of internal hardware failure in the card. Fortunately I shot the rest of the footage in this video on another card.
According to "San Diego County Place Names, A To Z) by Leland Fetzer, the waterfall is most likely named after Mildred Williams - a Julian resident in the early 1900's. Mildred committed suicide here by leaping into the falls.
