Mildred Falls is flowing for the first time in several years. At 300 feet, it's San Diego County's tallest waterfall.
The landscape is illuminated by a waxing crescent moon out of frame to the left.
To produce this image, I shot 224 frames over a period of almost two hours. Each exposure was done for 30 sec f/3.2 ISO 3200 with my Canon 6D and 50mm lens. I then spent about thee hours removing numerous airplane trails (SoCal sure has a LOT of air traffic). Finally, I stacked the images using StarStaX.
