🎵After we go to the beach, can we shoot some Milky Way panos? I really need to do that But first, Let me take a selfie 🎵 This is a single exposure shot with a Canon 6D and Canon 50mm lens at f/2.0 4 sec ISO 3200. It's challenging to capture the Milky Way off the coast in San Diego County, but it CAN be done this time of year. One has to pick a beach that's dark and a night where there is no fog and the humidity isn't too high.
The Milky Way behind Eagle Rock in Warner Springs. I managed to shoot this photo before the clouds got too thick and totally obscured the Milky Way. Notice the clouds to the right side of the rock formation? This is a single exposure shot with a Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm EX DG lens at 10 sec f/2.8 ISO 4000. This is located along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) in the Warner Springs community of San Diego County, California. I've searched around, but can't find any history regarding this rock formation. I don't know whether it was formed entirely by nature or possibly assisted by humans at some point.
I shot this on October 14, 2019 in La Jolla, California. This is a 5 exposure HDR shot with a Canon 6D and Canon 17-40mm f/4L lens.
