It was actually quite windy this night and the wind turbines were making powerful "whooosh" sounds while as the giant blades turned. It's getting late in the Milky Way season, so the galactic core is low on the horizon here.
This turbine is a Siemens 2.37MW-108 SWT.
The Ocotillo Express Wind Energy Project contains over 100 Siemens SWT-2.3-108 wind turbines and is located on BLM land outside of Ocotillo, California. The equipment is maintained by Pattern Energy Group LP.
I shot this with a Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm EX DG lens at 25 sec f/2.8 ISO 4000. In Lightroom, I removed move of the fisheye effect as well as the perspective distortion.
