Shot in the "Hollywood & Vine" area in the southern portion of Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
I produced this image by combining 65 frames shot at f/4.0 30 sec ISO 1600. Canon 6D and Sigma 15mm.
Cholla - the cacti seen here - are evil! These plants drop large golf ball-sized burs that get stuck in your skin and clothing. Not only are there burs all around, but each individual spike is barbed like a fishhook. They're very difficult and painful to remove. I just hope your dog doesn't come in contact with one.
